We raise a generation of young leaders who are set apart, connected to God, and empowered to use their creative gifts with vision and purpose. Through scripture-led guidance and emotional support, learners are equipped to overcome challenges, recover from hopelessness, and embrace their dreams while discovering God’s plan for their lives. Reflection and writing from the heart help students develop confidence, resilience, and the mindset, skillset and heartset to thrive in the world where traditional education can feel limiting.

As a non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), The School of Light reinvests in its learners, resources and programmes, ensuring education remains accessible and rooted in Christ’s love for every child. At The School of Light, we believe every child deserves access to quality education — no matter their background. Many of our resources and lessons are provided free for underprivileged learners, and we invite those who are able to support us to contribute an ongoing gift. Your support helps us continue offering an inclusive, Christ-centred curriculum for all.

Students will have the option to study Reading, English, Oracy, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Computing, Music, Spanish and PSHE (including Life Skills) all taught through Biblical principles and a Christ-centred perspective. Our curriculum also includes Philosophy for Children (P4C), encouraging young learners to explore big questions, reflect on God’s truths, and grow in wisdom, understanding and faith. 3heart Ministry is also offered, with daily teaching and engagement in God’s Word to nurture faith and a living relationship with Jesus.

Sonlight Well-being
Spiritual, Emotional, and Mind Support
At The School of Light, learning flourishes when children feel safe, supported, and nurtured. Our Spiritual, Emotional, and Mind Health (SEMH) support is grounded in Scripture, providing guidance to help learners grow. Through the 3heart Young Adults Ministry and 12 Steps programme, and daily practices of prayer, meditation, worship, and Bible journalling, students are encouraged to strengthen their hearts, minds and spirits.
The Light Within
Biblical Curriculum – The Way
The Light Within is the Christ-centred discipleship programme of The School of Light. It nurtures learners in a living relationship with God through Jesus, exploring the Gospel, His teachings and the truth of who we are as children of God.Learning is grounded in faith, reflection, and Scripture-led guidance, helping students grow in understanding, character and God’s grace. Through consistent engagement with God’s Word, storytelling, prayer and creative expression, learners are encouraged to walk in Christ’s Way, develop their spiritual gifts, and deepen their connection with His love.
